MeToo and IQ in Art

The rare drawbacks of a safer society.

I recently read “Sex with Presidents” by Eleanor Herman and I was quite surprised at how horrible some of our great Presidents were towards women.

I believe MeToo had a lot of good and bad, but more good overall. However, I find that there’s something to be said with getting rid of high IQ male achievers in order to make society safer.

Men are well known for being in the upper and lower quadrants of intelligence. The Yogscast were one of the funniest Youtube groups in the 2010s, yet they were plagued by minor sexual harassment allegations. Harvey Weinstein and Woody Allen made great films yet are sexual predators.

Compare the golden age of SNL, the anti-PC stuff of the 70s and 2010, to the female dominated era of today’s SNL. Back then there might have been one or two Tina Feys. Now there are 6 Mary Sues. The same can be said for Star Wars and the Kathleen Kennedy era. The average female is not as good at comedy as men are, even if men commit more crimes on average.

I’d love to see more female politicians, because females commit much less infidelity and less wars. However, I’d rather leave politics and identity issues out of entertainment. Remember when the Puritans tried to ban fun or how the government tried to ban alcohol in the 20s? I assume you get my point.
